Joyous singing of God’s faithfulness and goodness could be heard down Stone Mill Road from under the big tent canopy.
The congregation had gathered on the lawn, for the
“The Church that Christ Built”, a celebration on July 17, 2022.
Lisa Hayes gave a heartfelt account of her recent arrival at our church doors, and the impact of the historic church bell on her life.
We heard memories of the church from Betty Quin who has attended Windmill for over 80 years.
An audio message from Elmer Johnson reminisced about his time at Windmill as a Pastor.
Anita Fairles blessed us with her angelic voice, singing “Through It All”
And as always, a vibrant, relevant message was given by Pastor Aaron Noake entitled “The Church that Christ Built” from Matthew 6:13-20.
A good old fashioned Church picnic followed.
We were all fed, physically and spiritually.
What a beautiful day the Lord gave us to celebrate the Church He Built!
(Mayor) Wayne Redicop, (Regional representative) Wayne Gates and (Provincial representative) Tony Baldinelli, also attended and presented certificates to the congregation from each of their offices.
Why not join us this Sunday at 10am on the Lawn at Windmill Point Church, you are most welcome here!
We are located at 560 Stonemill Road Ridgeway Ontario.
