Ferndale Park is preparing to be transformed into a festival of fun this month as the fourth annual RORE Fest descends upon the local area on August 26th. Not only is this a great way to enjoy a day of fun activities and entertainment, but this year’s installment of the event will also be helping to support Pathstone Foundation, an organization devoted to youth mental health in our community.
RORE Fest is put on every year by Brent King the owner of RORE, a local real estate company, who covers the costs of the event and continues to give back to our community in a unique and generous way. This year, the plans for the day are more exciting than ever; from the many food trucks that will be offering delicious treats to the massive inflatable obstacle course, towering slide and prize giveaways, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained. Not to mention the two live bands (The Figure Four & The Chimps) that will be providing musical accompaniment throughout as well as the live ACRO Dance performances and then the finale – a movie on a massive outdoor screen as Ferndale Park transforms into an outdoor movie theater. This year’s movie will be The Super Mario Bros. (2023).
Those attending the event will also have the opportunity to participate in a special 50/50 draw which will be held in support of the Pathstone Foundation, offering the chance to win and generously support their vital cause. As if that wasn’t enough, there is also a fantastic prize giveaway competition RORE puts on every year offering entrants the chance to win $1000.
Brent and his team have been working hard to make this the best festival yet and it looks set to make sure all who attend will have a wonderful time they won’t soon forget. This is the perfect opportunity to both enjoy an evening of activities and to give back to a very worthy cause, one that we can all be proud to support.
If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday August 26th, make sure to check out RORE Fest as the perfect way to cap off the summer and enjoy the festivities. The festival starts at 4pm and goes until late. With so much fun to be had, your family and friends are certain to have a great time.
