Due to the current Heat Advisory, residents are reminded that open-air burning is prohibited under the Town of Fort Erie Burning By-law.

This includes the burning of: brush/yard waste, leaves, wood and other materials.

These restrictions are in place to help protect our community, property, and the environment during periods of elevated fire risk.

Violators may be subject to fines and penalties under the Town of Fort Erie Burning By-law.

Please do your part to keep Fort Erie safe.
