Hundreds of runners laced up their sneakers to participate in Greater Fort Erie’s signature running event on the weekend.
More than 500 people pre-registered for the Crystal Beach 5 K Run and Walk held Saturday morning in Crystal Beach, and hundreds more registered on the day of the event.
The Crystal Beach 5 K, a Thanksgiving tradition for many people, draws participants from across Niagara. It kicked off with runners and walkers of all ages crossing the starting line at the corner of Erie and Ridgeway Roads at 11 a.m.
