Fort Erie Optimist Club Reintroduces Tween Dances for 2025

Keasha Maile, FEO, January 23, 2025, VOL. 6 ISSUE 10

The Fort Erie Optimist Club is excited to announce the return of their popular Tween Dances, set to take place on the last Friday of each month from January to May. These dances, exclusively for children aged 8 to 13, and provide a fun and safe environment for local tweens to enjoy music, dancing, and socializing with friends.

The dances will be held at the Optimist Club, located at 1555 Gilmore Road, where participants can enjoy a variety of music and activities, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, allowing kids to refuel and stay energized throughout the evening while they enjoy the festivities.

The first dance will take place on January 31, and all local tweens are encouraged to come and join the fun. Organizers are excited to see the familiar faces of past attendees and look forward to meeting new participants this year. The Optimist Club is committed to providing a secure and supervised environment where parents can feel confident knowing their children are well taken care of.

The event offers not only a chance for tweens to dance and have fun, but also an opportunity to make lasting memories and form new friendships within the community. It’s an excellent way for kids to connect with others their age and enjoy an evening of positive, supervised activities.

The Optimist Club encourages families to get involved and make the most of this fantastic monthly event!
