Niagara Parks begins work to improve drainage along the parkway

The Niagara Parks Commission has begun infrastructure improvement work along the Niagara Parkway this week.

The NPC started to replace a large concrete culvert underneath the Niagara Parkway near the intersection of Netherby Road on Monday.

The construction work requires a temporary lane closure along the south Niagara Parkway, about 30 metres south of the intersection at Netherby Road and the Niagara Parkway. During the construction, there will be traffic control persons on-site directing vehicular traffic. It is expected that the work will take five days to complete and that all lanes will be open as of Saturday, March 16.
