Border Town Wrestling creates family memories

Fort Erie will be hosting an upcoming Bordertown rumble later this month.

Border Town Wrestling will see a match-up between Kongo Kong and Tyson Dux. on March 30 at 6 p.m.

The Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre has been the home base since the inception of Border Town Wrestling just over a year ago.

For owner Chris Snieg, the Native Centre was the perfect facility and he never had a second thought about another venue.

“It’s a great venue for wrestling,” Snieg said.

Snieg wants to create family memories for Fort Erie by giving the community family-friendly and affordable entertainment.

As someone who grew up watching wrestling, Snieg said: “by growing this company, I can relive some of my childhood memories while watching another family create theirs.”

“The eventual goal for me is to open a wrestling school here in Fort Erie. As the community has been so good to me, I want to be able to give back,” he added.

Tickets for the show start at $10 for general admission in advance or $15 at the door. VIP tickets are also available, starting at $25 each or two for $40. Buy tickets in advance by visiting www.bordertownwrestling.com/tickets.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. for VIP and 5:30 p.m. for general admission.
