Grab a bite to eat and see some of the best flavours Ridgeway serves up.
Restaurant Week returns to downtown Ridgeway from Nov. 9 to 18, and everyone is invited to celebrate the diverse offerings local eateries have to offer. About 11 restaurants are participating in the event, including 335 On The Ridge, The Kitchen and Trailside Bar and Grill.
Patty Mountain, a member of the Ridgeway Business Improvement Association, says the idea behind Restaurant Week is to bring people to Ridgeway to support local businesses.
“It’s a great opportunity to discover some delicious food for a good price, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner and take in a movie (at the Ridge Film House on Ridge Road.),” she said.
With Christmas on its way, the special occasion is also an opportunity to “pop into the many shops” along the street to find some unique gifts before stopping for dinner, Mountain added.
Restaurant Week kicks off with a preview on Thursday, Nov. 8. The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts, at 209 Ridge Rd. North, will host a Bite Night.
The event runs from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and includes one free drink, and samples from participating restaurants and food vendors.
Tickets can be purchased online on Ticketscene. Click here for more information.
