Lions and Dogs Set to Hit the Links!
“Autism Dog Services is excited to again be the recipient and charity of choice for the 10th Annual Ridgeway Lions Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 16th at the Fort Erie Gold Club”
Says ADS Fund Development Manager Adele Alfano.
Ridgeway Lions Club is raising funds to assist a family in obtaining a service dog for their child with autism. The cost of one fully trained service dog is between $25-$30,000.
Lions Club member Bruce Schinkel said, “The Ridgeway Lions have been raising money for years and are glad to partner again with Autism Dog Services this year. We enjoy working with the association and the families together to make the golf tournament a huge success”.
The day will consist of golf, food, fun, and making a difference in the lives of children with autism. There is a $100 registration fee that will include 18 holes of golf with a cart along with a steak dinner. There will be hole contests, raffles, and a 50/50 draw. And a hole-in-one could win someone a 2023 Toyota Corolla LE, valued at $30,000.
